With over 30 years of diverse experience, Darlene has excelled in sales, marketing, small business start-ups, and philanthropy. As a Professional Mediator and Visitation Monitor, she has dedicated decades to assisting families and individuals. She is also a respected educator, conducting online courses in Supervised Visitation Training and the 40-Hour Mediation Training.
A resident of sunny Temecula, CA, Darlene is a devoted mother of three and a doting grandmother to six. Her passion for children's literature was ignited by her grandchildren's boundless curiosity, leading her to become a children's author focused on early learning. Her books are designed to evolve alongside her young readers.
Darlene is the Director of Mediation Training at Affordable-Mediation.com, where she also manages marketing and IT support. Her mediation expertise spans a wide range of areas, including: Child Custody, Family, Elderly, Business, Real Estate,, Landlor/Tenant, Civil, Contracts and more.
Over the past 30 years, she has successfully launched and operated numerous profitable small businesses in Southern California. She currently serves as a Private Mediator and Supervised Visitation Monitor, teaching both mediation and supervised visitation in Riverside, CA.
Darlene’s extensive event planning experience includes 15 years directing events for groups of 50 to 3,000, as well as serving as Director of Catering and Event Coordinator for a major Southern California theme park. She has also planned VIP events for celebrities, including after-parties for the Golden Globes, Oscars, and Emmys, and served as a personal and wedding planner for A-list stars, national sports teams, and franchise businesses.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Darlene is a passionate advocate for children. As a Certified First Responder, she collaborated with the FBI and Riverside County Sheriff's Department in aiding victims of child trafficking. She founded and directed Women Against Child Trafficking and volunteered with the Riverside Against Human Trafficking Task Force.
In 2013, Darlene served as a Riverside County Commissioner for Women. She has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years and was named “Mrs. Menifee Chamber of Commerce” in 2012. An accomplished national public speaker, she is a proven leader in business and community service.
Darlene’s accolades include the National Association of Female Executives “2012 Nafe Award of Excellence,” the Woman of Significance Award (2013), and the President’s Volunteer Service Award, presented with a signed letter from President Barack Obama.
